Our Story

Gott Data has been in the making for years.

For years, they have said it's impossible for organizations to get the most out of their data, make the best decisions and create a meaningful movement of change through their people at the same time. That's simply not true.

We know that the data can be a source of immense good in the world when people belong and believe in the cause, and make the right decisions.

We founded Gott Data (Icelandic-English: Good Data) in Reykjavík, the northernmost capital city in the world in 2022 with ambition and dedication to making data work for SMEs and the public sector.

At Gott data we make ideas happen by combining people, data and decisions. We believe that unique problems require a holistic methodology so no one is left behind. And, our approach empowers people to make best decisions through insights and belonging.

How are we fulfilling our purpose:

1. Providing advice & technical solutions:

People always come first. This is our foundational paradigm in both our data & decision consultancy services, and bespoke technical development services.

2. Building groundbreaking products:

Our holistic suite of highly customizable products incorporates our people-centered design and leverages the power of emerging technologies like generative AI.

3. Empowering people and fostering belonging:

Our training & workshops are highly geared towards transforming your organization into a highly resilient one. We do so by offering workshops on creating data-informed culture, empowering decision-driven leadership, and fostering the belonging movement.

4. Being the change:

We know our mission is only complete when we do many small good acts of service to the world. We are accomplishing this in two ways:

a. Our partnership projects in developing countries:

We are partnering with like-minded organizations around the world to work on impactful projects in developing countries. Currently, we have active projects in Sierra Leone and in Nepal.

b. Our internal projects:

We are working on a few internal projects to make a difference in the world. One of our such projects is our Research Hub which contains our impactful research free and open for public use.
